MyCity4Her is an online resource created by a female entrepreneur who grew tired of having to search all over the web for five basic things. She wanted to find them in one place as a result, on any of our sites you can find local:

- The area's best networking and social events of particular interest to women.
Is MyCity4Her.com an online community?
Yes and no. MyCity4Her was created to be an online resource which to help you make the most of the geographic community live in and/or may be seeking to familiarize yourself with. As a result, the byproduct of the creation of MyCity4Her was the formation of an extensive online community of professional women who connect, inspire, do business with an educate one another. Our mission is to provide women in business all over with the information, contacts and resources needed to network, be informed, inspired and grow their business.
Are people who list or register for a complimentary account "members?"
Actually, no. MyCity4Her.com is a media company it is not a membership-based organization. We prefer to refer to the people who visit and use our resources as clients and/or our audience.
It says it's free to get a complimentary listing nothing is free these days. What's the catch?
MyCity4Her.com was created by a female entrepreneur who was frustrated with the lack of accessible resources for women in business to connect and promote themselves to each other and other members of their community/region. In this age of digital and affordable online media, she felt that the time had come for a democratic approach to effective promotion. Hence the creation of MyCity4Her.com. As a result, you are welcome to use the site solely as a complimentary registered user and/or lister, or you can increase your participation and visibility with one of our visibility solution packages.
Who can view my information?
Actually, anyone who visits our site which is the distinctive difference with many other "online communities" or concepts. It also means that if you aren't listed in many places on the internet but you are here, there's a better chance that people will see you.
What differentiates MyCity4Her.com from other online communities for women in business?
Many things! Let's start with five for now...
First, we don't believe it's fair to "hide" your profile after all isn't your goal for people to find you? If the only way people can find you is if they pay $$$$ to participate or have access, what's the point?
Second, we feel that every woman in business has the right to information without having to pay for it (haven't we all paid our dues already?). Why would we "charge" our visitors for access to resources that can help them? We believe in "paying it forward," and so far, one year into this we find that approach has paid off. Our traffic has increased 500% and our reputation and amount of registered users, visitors and clients continues to grow (we must be doing something right!).
Third, we realize that you're busy so our site is designed to provide you with what you want and need, not what you don't. We regularly poll our visitors and clients, as well women in business involved in the communities we do business in, to find out what they need. Our goal is to constantly evolve to serve you and the community better.
Fourth, we know what it's like to have to travel in business or move or find yourself in a new or perhaps familiar place but not necessarily knowing anyone. We also know that it's hard to find the "right" information in that circumstance unless you have contacts. That's why we offer so much regionally focused info so you can feel like a local even if you aren't one!
Finally, MyCity4Her.com's goal is to make each of the communities it serves a better place. By providing an extraordinary amount of media sponsorship to non-profit initiatives, organizations and charities that support women in business, we help promote awareness for important causes you and/or other people
might not know about. The by purchasing a visibility solution package or advertise, you are helping us to fulfill this mission. We like to call it Promotion with a Philanthropic edge.
After all - Information is power, and we're all for helping women in business everywhere, be better informed, better prepared, better connected and ultimately more successful!
